In February of 2017, Rivers Agile promoted Mark VanArsdale from Software Engineer to Technical Lead. In his new role, Mark will be responsible for leading the group dedicated to developing a population health management solution for a healthcare client. Although with us for a relatively short amount of time, Mark has shown remarkable growth and leadership potential. Mark joined Rivers Agile as a contract resource in May of 2017. He quickly proved himself an invaluable member of the organization and made instant contributions to projects with a flagship client. Mark was brought on as a full-time employee in November of 2017, immediately demonstrating continued growth, especially as a technical leader.
“As a Technical Lead, Mark will be responsible for several facets of project technical leadership, focusing specifically on growing as a “go to” resource, and partnering with clients to ensure accuracy, completeness and satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.” said Greg Hopkins, Director of Engineering at Rivers Agile.
Before joining Rivers Agile, Mark gained a wealth of experience as a Software Developer, specializing inRuby on Rails, AngularJS, PHP, HTML, CSS, and MySQL. Additionally, Mark is a 2013 Computer Science graduate of La Roche College. In his spare time, Mark enjoys gaming, spending time with his wife, Kiley, and new son, Sebastian, and tinkering with new projects from woodworking to learning new code bases. When asked about his new position, Mark said, “I’m honored and excited. Not only is it a fantastic opportunity to further my career here at Rivers Agile, but also a great opportunity to continue building and growing our relationships with our clients.”
We’re proud to have Mark on our team and thrilled to offer him this promotion. Congratulations, Mark!
