Mark VanArsdale Rivers AgileMark VanArsdale
Mark is a software engineer at Rivers Agile, currently focused on developing a care management solution for a healthcare client. He is a web-based developer with a strong background in Ruby on Rails, AngularJS, PHP, HTML, CSS, and MySQL. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science from La Roche College in Computer Science. In his spare time, Mark enjoys gaming, spending time with his wife and son, and tinkering with new projects from woodworking to learning new code bases.
Robert Maher Rivers AgileRob Maher
Rob is a software engineer at Rivers Agile, currently focused on a web-based patient referral project. He has a wide range of experience in AngularJS, jQuery, and other front end skills including HTML, CSS, and UX design. Rob holds a B.S. from Robert Morris University. On the side, he has developed two games, Rex Rocket and Blossom Tales for Castle Pixel which both are available on the Steam Powered store. Blossom Tales is coming to the Nintendo Switch this holiday season.
Jeff Meyers Rivers AgileJeff Meyers
Jeff is a senior quality assurance analyst at Rivers Agile, currently focused on software testing for a custom data visualization tool for our client. He has over 20 years of experience in a variety of engineering roles throughout Pittsburgh and has demonstrated success in testing complex networking devices and mobile applications. Jeff holds a degree from Penn Technical Institute. He enjoys spending time with his friends and family, movies, and music (he’s a bass-player and wanna-be audiophile).
Abe Anderson Rivers AgileAbe Anderson
Abe is a software engineer at Rivers Agile, currently focused on a development project for a healthcare client. He continues to learn new things including different languages, but he specializes in Ruby on Rails and JavaScript and its related frameworks. Abe went to CMU for his degree in Creative and Professional Writing before attending an online program through Bloc for Computer Software Engineering. He enjoys solving creative challenges, playing drums in his band, and large dogs.
Sanjar Giyaziddinov Rivers AgileSanjar Giyaziddinov
Sanjar is a software engineer at Rivers Agile, currently focused on custom data visualization. He has a depth of experience in JavaScript and AngularJS, and has worked for several firms around the globe. Sanjar holds a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science From Lomonosov Moscow State University as well as a Master of Science in Information Technology from Carnegie Mellon University.

Mike is a quality assurance analyst at Rivers Agile, currently focused on software testing for a web-based patient referral system for a healthcare client. He has over 15 years of experience in various IT roles throughout the Pittsburgh region and brings a depth of knowledge with him. Mike holds a Bachelor’s degree from Penn State University. He enjoys spending time with friends and family and exercising.
Shaun O'Brien Rivers AgileShaun O’Brien
Shaun is a software engineer at Rivers Agile, currently focused on a development project for a healthcare client. He has built a diverse background in software throughout his 20 year professional career, but focuses on front-end architecture and the JavaScript ecosystem. Shaun is especially passionate about React, D3.js, Three.js, and React Native, and enjoys learning about them in his spare time.
